What is a documented break?
A sealed box or case opened on continuous, timestamped video by an independent third party, with every hit sleeved the moment it is pulled and its condition recorded as observed. The shop sells the cards with a record buyers can watch.

Why would a shop document a box opening?
So its singles carry proof. A buyer can watch the card come out of a sealed pack and see its condition recorded at that moment, which answers "was this really pack fresh?" before it is asked.
What happens during a controlled opening?
The box is opened on continuous, timestamped video with the seal and the packs in frame, and the recording is never paused or cut. Each hit is sleeved the moment it is pulled and its condition recorded as observed.

Where do breaks happen?
At your premises or an agreed venue in the Yuma area, by appointment. The practice has no storefront.
Do you hold my money or my cards?
Cards, yes, under a logged custody with locked storage and insured shipping. Money, no: grading fees are prepaid by you, and I do not provide escrow, hold funds or lend.
Can my customers watch the recording?
Yes. Each pack-fresh certificate links to the recording, so anyone who buys a documented card can watch it come out of the pack.
How is a documented break priced?
Flat fees per box or per case, quoted in writing, with per-card fees for condition documentation and pack-fresh certificates on hits. Collectors who bring their own box pay a flat fee per box.
What is a pack map?
A known pattern in how some products are packed. Where one applies, it can show whether packs in a sealed box have been moved or swapped, so I use it as one of the reseal checks.
What happens to the cards after the break?
Documented cards go into new sleeves and holders, then locked storage under the custody log until they are returned to you, shipped, or sent on through the submission hub.
What if something goes wrong on camera?
The recording keeps running and records it. It is never paused or cut, so whatever happens, from a damaged card in a pack to a box that looks tampered with, is part of the record.
How do certificate links work?
Each pack-fresh certificate pairs the documentation sheet for a card with a link to an unlisted copy of the break recording. The shop sells the certificate with the card, and the buyer uses the link to watch the pull.
