Pricing

Every fee is flat or hourly and quoted in writing before work begins. Fees are never a percentage of value — a fee tied to value would give the appraiser a stake in the answer.

Prices are not published yet. Each engagement is quoted individually, by email, with its basis stated: per report, per item, per box, per case or per hour.

Quotes

How quotes work

Nothing is quoted or opined in messages. The fee, its basis and the timeline arrive in writing, by email, before any work begins.

  1. Step 1: Message or email

On Instagram or by email. Say what you have and what it is for.

  2. Step 2: Written scope and quote by email

Before any work. Flat or hourly, stated in writing.

  3. Step 3: Engagement letter

What we will do, what we will not do, and the disclosures.

  4. Step 4: Work and delivery

Inspection, report or recording, then delivery by email.

Fee questions

How are fees set?

Every fee is flat or hourly and quoted in writing before work begins. Fees are never a percentage of the value of the property, because a fee tied to value would give the appraiser a stake in the answer.

Can you tell me what my cards are worth over Instagram?

No. A message starts a conversation; the value opinion comes in a written report after an engagement letter. We do not give opinions on value, authenticity or grade in messages.

Are prices published?

Not yet. Each engagement is quoted individually by email with the fee basis stated — per report, per item, per box or per hour.

Do you take deposits?

Only when the written scope says so, and the amount is stated there.
