Remote appraisal clinic
Not in Yuma? Send us photographs and a short video and we return a written opinion per item or a summary for a collection. The report states plainly that it is based on the images you supplied and that no physical inspection took place.
Flat fee per item, quoted in advance
Who it is for
Built for the people who need the answer in writing
- Collectors outside the Yuma area
- Sellers deciding which cards are worth grading
- Buyers who want a second opinion before they pay
How to photograph your cards
Front and back, flat on a matte surface, straight on and in even light.
All four corners close up, and the edges in raking light from the side.
A ten-second video tilting the card under a light so surface scratches and print lines show.
Something for scale, and the card in its sleeve or slab if it has one.
Share a folder link (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox) or an unlisted video link. Please do not email originals.
How it works
From first message to signed report
Step 1: Message or email
Tell us what you have and what it is for. Photographs help; a count and the intended use are enough to start.
Step 2: Written scope and quote
We reply by email with what the engagement covers, the fee basis and the timeline. Fees are flat or hourly, never a percentage of value.
Step 3: Inspection
In person across the Yuma area, or from your photographs and video with that limitation stated in the report.
Step 4: Report
A signed written report with the method, the photographs and the certification with disclosures.
Step 5: Delivery
By email as a PDF. We keep a copy under the retention policy.

Questions
Can you tell whether a card is fake from photographs?
Often, but not always. We give an opinion with the checks we could perform and say when the images are not enough. "Inconclusive" is an honest finding.
What if my photos are not good enough?
We ask for better ones before we start. You are not charged for the reshoot.
How long does it take?
Typically five to ten days from the day we have usable images, stated in the written scope.
