Privacy policy
This website collects almost nothing. Here is exactly what it does, and what happens when you get in touch.
1. This website
bcheckb.org is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It has no forms, no accounts, no login, and sets no cookies of its own. The host records ordinary server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operation; we do not use analytics scripts.
2. Third-party content
- YouTube thumbnails. The video library loads still images from YouTube's image host (i.ytimg.com). Your browser requests those images directly from Google, which may record that request under Google's privacy policy. The course page embeds one YouTube video the same way.
- Instagram. Buttons that say “Message on Instagram” open Instagram. Anything you send there is governed by Meta's terms and privacy policy.
- Teachable. The course is sold and delivered by Teachable; enrolling there is governed by Teachable's policies. We receive the enrolment details Teachable shares with course owners.
3. When you message or email us
We keep what you send (your name, contact details, photographs, video links and the details of your cards) for as long as the conversation and any engagement last, and then under the retention and consent policy. We do not sell, rent or share it, except to the professionals an engagement requires (for example an insurer or attorney you have asked us to send a report to) or when the law requires.
4. Client material during an engagement
Photographs, video and recordings of your property are records of the engagement. How they are stored, who can see them and when they are deleted is set out in the retention and consent policy, which is part of every engagement letter.
5. Your choices
Ask us by email what we hold about you and we will tell you; ask us to delete it and we will, unless an open engagement, claim or dispute requires the record. Email: breakcheckbarragan@gmail.com.
