What if something goes wrong on camera?
In short: The recording keeps running and records it. It is never paused or cut, so whatever happens, from a damaged card in a pack to a box that looks tampered with, is part of the record.
The point of a documented break is that the record shows what actually happened, good or bad. A card that comes out of the pack with a factory flaw is recorded as observed, with the time on the record.
Problems with the box itself should surface earlier: every box is weighed and its seal photographed at intake, and anything that does not look factory-sealed is flagged before it is opened. If a dispute follows, the recording is kept for seven years under the retention and consent policy.
