How does recertification work?
In short: Certified staff take a short recertification each year. It keeps everyone applying the written condition standard the same way.
Habits drift. Someone starts calling a soft corner "near mint" because the last buyer did not complain, and the standard slips across the counter.
A yearly recertification checks that each certified person still applies the standard as written. It is much shorter than the original day of instruction. Under a site licence it covers everyone on the team, including people hired during the licence year. The details and timing are set out in the written quote for your shop.
Recertification follows the same written standard as the original certification, and it can be done in person or online. Its purpose is to keep the standard and what happens at your counter the same, so a customer hears the same description of a card whichever staff member they ask.
