Who can see my records?
In short: You, always. A buyer can watch a break through the certificate link you or the shop gives them, and a grading company or insurer sees a record only when you ask me to support a dispute or claim.
Nobody else gets access by default. I do not sell, license or share records, and I do not use them in marketing without your written consent.
The certificate link is the one way a record reaches people you have not named: it lets whoever holds the card watch the opening. That is the point of it. Everything else happens because you asked. The retention and consent policy lists these cases.
In practice there are four ways a record is seen:
- You, always. Ask by email and I send it.
- A buyer, through the certificate link you or your shop give them.
- A grading company or an insurer, when you ask me to support a dispute or a claim.
- The public, only if you agree in writing to a specific recording being published.
