Can I get copies of my records later?
In short: Yes. You can ask for copies of your records at any time during the seven-year retention period, and I will send what I hold for your engagement.
The report, condition sheets and certificate links are delivered to you at the end of the job, so keep them with your other papers. If you lose them, or need the underlying photographs or custody log for a claim, ask by email and include enough detail to find the engagement.
Records are kept for seven years under the retention and consent policy, then deleted on a schedule. After that, there is nothing left to send.
A good request names the engagement date, the cards or boxes involved and what you need: the report, a condition sheet, a break recording link, the photographs or the custody log. Copies of your own records are yours to ask for at any time during the retention period.
