What happens after I message you?
In short: Four steps: your message, my written scope and quote by email, the engagement letter you sign, then the work and the delivered record. Nothing is done or charged before the letter is signed.
- Initial contact. You tell me what you have and what it is for.
- Written scope and quote. I reply by email with what the engagement covers, the fee and its basis (flat or hourly), and the timeline.
- Engagement letter. You sign the terms before any work begins: what I will do, what I will not do, and the disclosures.
- Work and delivery. I carry out the service and deliver the record by email.
