Can I email you instead of messaging on Instagram?
In short: Yes. Email breakcheckbarragan@gmail.com with what you have and what it is for. It is handled exactly the same way as an Instagram message.
Email is the right choice if you do not use Instagram, if you are writing for a business or an insurer, or if you want everything in one thread from the start.
One request: send photographs and video as a shared-folder link rather than attachments. Email compresses images and loses them in long threads. The reasons are in why I ask for links, not files.
What to put in the email
A subject line that says what it is for helps, such as "Appraisal request". Then the same three things as any first message: what the cards are, roughly how many, and what the answer is for. What to send in a first message has the full list.
What happens next
I try to reply within three business days. The reply is the start of a conversation, not an opinion: I do not give opinions on value, authenticity or grade in messages. If the job fits, the next email is a written scope and quote. What you send is kept for as long as the conversation and any engagement last, then under the retention and consent policy.
