What is the grading submission hub?

Submitting cards for grading is fiddly: each company has its own forms, packing rules and tiers, and once a card leaves your hands you have no record of the condition it left in. The hub takes the handling off your hands and adds that record.

How it works

1. Pre-grade. Each card is examined and photographed, and an opinion of its likely range is recorded. See what a pre-grade is.
2. Package and insure. Cards are packed to the grading company's requirements and shipped insured under the custody log.
3. Submit, fees prepaid. You choose the company and prepay its fee. I never hold funds.
4. Return check and report. When the slabs come back, I photograph them against the outbound record and log each grade against the pre-grade opinion. See what I check when cards come back.

Custody

From intake to return, your cards are logged, kept in locked storage, shipped insured and never mixed with anything the practice or I own. That is the same chain of custody I keep for breaks.

Money

You prepay the grading fee, either directly to the grading company or as a pass-through invoice paid before shipping. I do not provide escrow, hold funds or advance money. See who pays the grading company's fees.

Fees

The hub is a flat service fee per card. Grading fees and insured shipping are passed through at cost and prepaid by you. Return reconciliation is included with every submission. A bulk tier is offered only when a dealer program is active, so ask.

If something goes wrong

If a card comes back damaged, the outbound photographs and condition notes are your evidence. I prepare the comparison, and you make the claim. The photographs are kept under the retention and consent policy.

Collectors who want cards submitted properly without learning each company's process, and shops that want a documented chain of custody from the counter to the slab. It also continues the record for hits from a documented break.
