What is a pre-grade assessment?
In short: A careful read of a card before you pay grading fees: I measure centering and examine the surface, corners and edges, then give you an opinion of the likely grade range and which grading company’s standard fits the card.
Grading fees are gone once a card ships. A pre-grade gives you an independent read first, so you can decide what is worth submitting.
I measure centering, examine the surface under raking light and the corners and edges under magnification, and photograph what I see. You get observed-condition notes, an opinion of the likely range, and the company whose standard fits. It is a flat fee per card, and a batch grade-prediction report covers ten cards at a time.
The photographs are kept under the retention and consent policy.
